We selected the highest packaging budget that was available on Design Crowd, we have no issue in increasing this budget as we know it is a lot of work so we'll speak to Design Crowd support and ask how we can do this as we have already selected the highest available package.

The project is split under phase 1 and phase 2.

Phase 1 will have various designs such as samosa, spring rolls, seekh kebabs, nuggets, burgers etc, so you can have the same basic design but the quantity on the bags will change for example 10 pack meat samosa, 20 pack meat samsoa, 50 pack meat samosa, all same design but different quantity.

Likewise, Chicken samosas, 10, 20 and 50 pack, can be same design but we change the colour for example meat we may use a red strap line, chicken orange strap line, veg green strap line, all same designs but slight suttle changes to make them different.

Also, we are going to speak to Design Crowd and increase the budget on this project.

We don't understand exactly what you are saying?

There is no reason for you not to be convinced about the payment guarantee, this isn't our first project on DesignCrowd and we have always paid!

If you don't believe us and don't want to work on it that is your choice.

We select design crowd as we can have ideas from many designers and hence why we don't want 1 on 1 designers hired at this stage, I think you maybe missing the concept of "Design Crowd"...

Thank You for invitation, but I'm a vegan and try not to be involved in the project where is obviously presents the corpses of the animals. I think, that the animals are not the food. They have the same right to live.

I am sorry that you see it this way, to yourself it may seem like it is not 50 different designs but technically every different size needs adapting and change of values, adaption of artwork for the different flavors, color proofing etc which takes a lot of time. Maybe not as much as coming with the idea for the initial design but still it may take up from 1 to 5 hours depending on the design and the client feedback back and forth. Now multiply those possible hours of work for all the variations you are asking and you get an idea of how much work goes into what you say it's not many designs. I guess we are talking for more than a months worth time just for phase 1.

Now I understand why you are not eager to guarantee the payment because you had previous bad experience, but trust me when I say it the problem lays in the project budget. Normally a label/packaging design on DC goes from $130 and up for one design, every variation of that design should be an extra project. I don't want to be negative but the budget for the kind of work you are asking is ridiculously low. I had to read the brief 3 times before rejecting the invitation from you because I couldn't believe it.

Anyway, thank you for the invitation and for the quick reply. I really wish you get what you are looking for.

The maximum budget option on Design Crowd was what we selected, if there was a higher option, we would have selected that but there was no higher option.

We have asked design crowd support, how we can increase the budget and we're awaiting their reply.

We are aware of the work involved and we're not unreasonable in our expectations or budgets.
