The designs given 3 stars are all off to a very good start. We are liking the simple and the bold. Let's keep going down that path... avoiding really plain or formal looking fonts. Anyone working with flames/fire concepts, please be careful to avoid a shape similar to the "Tinder" logo, or anything to reminiscent of the "Calgary Flames" logo. We haven't seen an abstract concept that really grabs us yet but please feel free to submit more of these. The images that use recognizable symbols (gears, flames, water droplets, etc.) are appealing to us as well. Thanks everyone, we are excited to see where these designs go from here... and to see additional submissions as they come in!

Hey all, keep the ideas coming. Please no more "BM" logos, we won't be using these 2 letters. Prefer the logo to be an image of some kind Also, let's stop using gears please, let's see what else we can come up with. We may end up coming back to gears but at this point we are not quite sold on that idea yet. Thanks!!

Hi everybody, hope Christmas was fantastic. The brief has been updated!! Please check for changes. Here are the highlights:

1) Hubby likes a rectangular outline around the text portion if it works, feel free to try it out.
2) NO lettermark designs - we will not use anything with BM or BML.
3) Colours modified slightly, more light/cyan to medium blue and less teal shades
4) We ditched the "vintage" idea completely; let's go for bold, construction inspired fonts in all caps.
5) Prefer to see text with BURNS large on top line, and MECHANICAL LTD smaller on bottom line (beneath BURNS)
