Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Company overview and target audience’s:

motoDNA is an Australian based design company providing Motorcycle design services to a range of clients worldwide. motoDNA works with established and fledgling brands to bring both component and full motorcycle designs to fruition and prides itself on being a leader in motorcycle innovation throughout the world.

Our brand has developed to the point where we and our customers want to develop co-branding opportunities that will see our logo positioned on marketing material globally. The logo that we now require needs to reflect the fact that we are heavily involved in the ‘Science of Motorcycle Design’ but look at home on anything from corporate proposals right through to a mechanics toolbox. It must be clean, ‘edgy’ yet professional!

Format:

The motoDNA needs to be supplied in .eps format in order for it to be able to be scaled according to the outlet it is applied to.

Important information:

The ‘moto’ element needs to be in lower case. The ‘DNA’ needs to be in upper case.

Our thinking:

Via internal discussions we’ve developed some base concepts for a prospective designer to use as cues.

Please use these cues as a suggestive guide only. We are not totally set on these elements however we are happy enough for them to be used as a guide unless you can create something you feel is superior.

We have also discussed incorporating a DNA strand into the design however our design skills do not give us the ability to provide an example of how this is possible but we’re open to ideas.

We like attached logo whereby the ‘moto’ is in a simple but somewhat stylish font with the ‘DNA’ component becomes the more prominent ‘edgy’ element of the logo.

We thought also that the DNA component lends itself to being turned into a motorcycle shape similar the motorcycle picture below whilst still remaining clearly readable as ‘DNA’.
