Times Square is iconified as "The Crossroads of the World” a major commercial intersection located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, United States. This brightly illuminated hub of the Broadway theater district is a major center of the world's entertainment industry and one of the world's busiest pedestrian intersections with over 39 Million visitors every year.
Times Square, “The Crossroads of the World,” is a unique brand and our website needs a new logo.
Our TimesSquare.com logo contest includes an epic $10,000 of prizes! The winner (1st prize) will receive $5,000 with a further $5,000 of prizes for runners-up! We are looking for cutting edge logos from all designers that communicate the atmosphere and energy of Times Square in New York City.
Submitted Logo designs will be eligible for the following prizes:
1st Prize $5,000
2nd Prize $1,000
3rd Facebook 'Like' Prize $500
4th Prize $300
5th Prize $200
Top 60 Participation Payments of $50
To be eligible for the most likes on Facebook, the design must be submitted to the TimesSqaure.com Facebook page.
How to submit to Facebook:
1. Submit your Logo design to this project.
2. Post your DesignCrowd TimesSquare.com Logo contest submission/entry URL to the TimesSquare Facebook page:

3. Promote your post to get the highest number of “likes”
4. The submission with the highest number of likes upon completion of the project (where the design has not been eliminated) will be awarded $500
- Participating designers will have the opportunity to have their design work viewed by our global agency partners.
- Top 60 Runners Up will be paid a participation amount of $50 and potentially the opportunity to have their logo / work published in a book!
- The winning designer will be interviewed by one of our reporters plus potential publication in an official logo contest book and possible photo opportunity in New York City when our official launch takes place.

I extended the contest for the many designers who contacted us and Design crowd with problems and being unable to enter designs due to a technical problem. I understand this should now be resolved. First set of winners to be chosen on 10/11/12 and final winners and grand winner on 12/12/12 This contest is a grand success and will be held yearl. This is the first annual Times Square , www.timessquare.com yearly logo contest. A Book with all winners will be published yearly. Thank you , Victor
