Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo for our farm called "Ferme Umami", it's the French counterpart of "Umami farm". We are based on the southshore of Montreal in Quebec, Canada. We grow organic fruitd and vegetables and we sell harvest shares based on the Community-supported agriculture (CSA). We deliver to our clients a basket full of vegetables, once a week during 18 weeks, in two dropoff locations to people of our community. Thank you.

The name of the farm, Umami, is a japanese word to name the 5th basic taste on our tongue (together with sweetness, sourness, bitternes and saltiness), it means pleasant savory taste. We think that the way we grow our vegetables increase their flavors and their nutritional values, because we grow them by respecting nature and work with her instead of against her. And the way they taste different is important to us, this is our branding... Since the beginning of the farm, I tell to people: I willn't try to convince you, I will let my vegetables do it... and it seems to work!

We grow on a small area of land, less than two acres of vegetables. We don't use tractor, only hand tools. We don't use chemicals, only organics amendements. We work hard to built the microorganism fauna in our soils who improve the yields and taste attributes of our produces while reducing the labor linked to weeds, diseases and pest in our cultures. We strongly believe in a durable agriculture because it produces great food, it's good for our health and also for our environment and the one of our children!

We see our logo with a "Classy and Noble" design. "Classy" because our vegetables are so much more than those we find at the grocery store and "Noble" because the nature, our partner, is so noble!
