Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Hello

UPDATE: Please do not just send me another clip art elephant upside down. I am looking for something unique - please read brief carefully.

This is really exciting!

elephantsbelly is a video production company. We are restructuring the business into two separate brands to better focus our resources and develop the business.

We have a fair amount of brand recognition in the industry so have kept is simple and simply called it:
a) elephantsbelly wedding (creative weddings & event videography)
b) elephantsbelly business ( corporate content, social media marketing, traditional videography/edit services/motion graphics)

The current yellow upside down elephant is a very generic web vector we downloaded 4 years ago, and have become very proad of the brand.

We feel it is time to give our company its own identity. We need to rep-imagine the current logo and create two variations that will destinktly identify the seperate brands. This could obveously done just by recoloring or font changes, but i would be great to have something a little more unique - a slight variation.


Never done this before so please let me know if you need any more information.


There is some brand identity which we would like to preserve with this update if possibble, and just a few general comments:
a) The Logo still needs to somehow depict/symbolise an upside down elephant
b) elephantsbelly.wedding's branding and logo should preferably remain yellow (current yellow #FFE061) However will change for the rght design/convept.
c) elephantsbelly is written like that - one word no space inbetween - (no capitals)
d) we create video content so the logo should handle a video background, or at leaast have light/dark options.
e) we own elephantsbelly.business and elephantsbelly.wedding domains where we will be hosting the new sites.


Have attached the current logo for the established wedding division we currently use. Font is coolvettica.


History

The name has no real origin story, came up with it while on a backpacking trip through India and never really imagined we would actually go through with it, quit our jobs and start a new company… and actually call it elephanstbelly

I guess it now just symbolises that we are creative thinkers and and as people we do not take ourselves to seriously. Our company image (genuine) caring, professional, personal service, quality and producing unique content.

We have only had great feedback over the years about our brand, and most clients or people we meet do ask about it. So, it works, and we love it - good luck!!!

• - Just from experience.... there is a fine line between an upside down elephant logo, and a logo of a dead elephant ;-) just saying
