***PLEASE READ BRIEF***
I need a unique, artisitic, design for my logo
I have decided to call this space, 'NewSpace' as the building within which it is to be found is called, Newnorthern. I want to avoid the word 'gallery' as it is common in country towns where local artists and craftspeople show their wares. Although small, (114 square meters)I want this gallery to be seen in the context of smart, urban galleries or perhaps a room in a major national gallery.
I am a photographer and so the space is certainly well suited to that application, but will suit any contemporary visual arts and acoustic music. The town I live in is called, Castlemaine. It is well known as a regional centre for the arts with a biennial festival second only to the state arts festival. I want to be innovative in how to use gallery space, how to hang art, show sculpture etc. I want the viewers to feel immersed in the atmosphere, drawn to what is on the walls.

Hello to all.
Almost all the designs received so far seem relevant to a corporate HQ in the city rather than a contemporary gallery in an historic country town with a reputation for the arts.
I need to see something that really relates to the world of paintings, photography, sculpture and installations. This is a space for not only the display of top quality art but events to do with the arts. And that is not a corporate look but a flamboyant and creative look, something arresting, something charm but also bold and visually compelling.

Debes tener
- Be able to be painted large on a building. Highly suggestive of newness, contemporariness and innovation but also mindful of the eternal nature of fine art and recognisable to multiple generations of art lovers i.e.. not over the top or oblique. I am very open to what this looks like but I would love to see something that is eye catching and exciting, something that conveys a sense of creativity.

- I would like it to be colourful but it doesn't have to be. I would also be open to a graphic element, either embraced in the lettering or in addition.
