Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a new logo for our company that's fresh and bold. We are a leadership consultancy, working with large organisations, Olympic and elite athletes and universities, providing leadership development, executive coaching, team development and mindfulness. Our motto is: "Provoke people. Evoke solutions" and our approach is confronting, provocative, support and caring.

Our previous logo designs have all been based around circles and the number. Our philosophy is about the inter-connectedness of people, and many of our models and ideas have common 'clusters' hence the circles. We also liked the idea of ripples - the idea that within each moment is the opportunity to create a ripple in the world that sends people sailing into a better future. Primary colours have been Red and Black, secondary colours greys. I still like all this and would like to see a refreshed version of the logo in this space. Happy to explore colours here.

I have always, however, liked the idea of a lion logo, particularly a rampant lion standing on hind legs. Lions have that aura of power and caring, strength and wisdom, which are core leadership values to us. I like the idea of a vivid green colour too. So many corporate logos are blue or green. More and more are becoming red. So I guess, I"m looking for a vivid green that really stands out, something that is not too intricate, but more minimal. I like black and green. Of course, there are many companies with a Lion logo, so to make it be something different could be quite difficult.

One problem: our company name is: "Performance Potential" - a long name that has never been treated all that well in any of the logo designs to date. Ideally, I probably need some logo variants that I can use: a full form with full name and logo, a smaller form (perhaps just logo). I need it to be flexible for web-page use, document use, bold and readable.

• Clear, readable text when in small logo format
• Instantly recognisable and completely unique - hey I used to do graphic design, and I know the crazy things clients ask for :)

Agradable de tener

• Nice to capture the values within the design: leadership, ripples, power, action, caring, wise, etc.
• In terms of colours: I like a clean red, and a bright green, also black. Perhaps \ a strong orange with black,,, but happy to explore options

No debería tener

• No comic sans font in hot pink - just kidding. NO really, no comic sans in hot pink.
• No blue or dark green > too many management consultants use these
