Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Need a logo to be used for artwork, branding, website, posters etc, maybe also on personalised glassware, matchbooks etc. The bar is a converted butcher shop & still has butcher shop feel. Will be putting on live music, plus other live performance, plus display artworks. High quality wine list, good selection of beers, cocktails, spirits etc

We are down to 2 names - "Butchers Brew" & "Blue Valentines" so I think best way is to proceed with commissioning a logo for each & see what works best.

Butchers Brew is a play on Miles Davis Bitches Brew album so could use that cover as a starting point (or not) & play on that.

Blue Valentines is my favourite Tom Waits song. Think heartache, tattoos, running away from a mysterious past etc

Bar will retain original blue/ green/ turquoise/ white/ gold mosaic floor/ wall tiles & can incorporate that into the design also. Photos attached.

Don't want copies of either album but using same or similar fonts or other elements could work, maybe against a representation of the tiles. Also open to something completely different.

Objetivo del mercado(s)

18-90 - bar is in a diverse area so will be young hipsters & older crowd. Music lovers, particularly jazz/ funk but not exclusively so, people who love live music, good wine, slightly upmarket but not stuffy, art lovers, sophisticated but not pretentious, people with a sense of humour.

• Must work & be easy to replicate on website, posters, have an air of sophistication/ fun/ warmth. V IMPORTANT is that we want a retro butcher look as the bar is a converted butcher shop & we're repurposing a lot of the original fixtures.

Agradable de tener

• I think blues/ turquoises/ white & a little bit of gold would work & to incorporate mosaics into the design but v open to designer ideas. I also love purples & reds & black so don't want to be too prescriptive

No debería tener

• Sexy is good bit nothing sexist or offensive
