Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a simple logo suitable for use as an App logo (so it would need to be square) and also to be replicated in a website yet to be developed.

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is the surgical specialty that deals with surgery of the mouth, face and jaws with both dental and medical input. Complex dental surgery and implants, congenital, developmental and traumatic deformity and pathology of the jaws and facial bones are treated. The abbreviation for oral & maxillofacial surgery is "OMS."

Currently I have a letterhead with a practice colour of "straw yellow" as a 15mm band across the upper border that contains dark blue text "William Besly" (Times Roman all in upper case but with a larger W and B) and with Arial for "Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery."

I had in mind using the name "Besly," as this is how I would be searched most often, and the abbreviation "OMS" with a simple graphic indicating a smile (maybe as part of a face). I would like to continue to use the practice colour of "straw yellow" and dark blue text with perhaps another colour for the graphic component.

The design should communicate surgical simplicity and precision. The colour(s) should communicate the positive happiness and satisfaction of yellow. I would like the overall look to be professional and trusted.

The person will probably be referred rather than be seeking the service so there is less need to attracted attention or stand out from other logos and more need to convey a sense of professional and trusted service.
