Resumen de Diseño Web

Our company produces medical education materials and services for the pharmaceutical industry. Our existing website (www.elixir.net.au) provides more information.
 
We need a homepage design for our new company website we are creating. Our site will not have a great amount of content, we want it to be fast, user friendly and easily adaptable to viewing on any platform, and through any browser. We don't want it over-designed - i.e. no highly animated banner flags, backgrounds, obscure webfonts, too many graphics etc. Attached are files indicating our existing company logo and design. We want the logo and rings to be retained. We've also attached draft copy for the website.
The final website may be designed in Wordpress (still to be confirmed)
 
This is a design to replace the current site (www.elixir.net.au). Content will also be revised.
Things we don't like about our current design - doesn't use our current branding, is not very exciting, old fashioned 'standard' format, too much content, just doesn't look that good, boring.

Features we like from these sites - fast, responsive, short and to the point, cross-platform compatible including smartphones, and looks good
 
Main reasons people will visit our site: to find out whether we can provide services they might be looking for, to make a decision on whether they are interested in what we offer so they can get in touch with us, and to get our contact details.
Main thing we want to achieve from website visits is that it looks good enough and provides enough summary information on us so that they want to get in touch with us, to offer us work or to ask us to come in and meet them to provide more info on what we do.
