It's gonna be a stupid question, But I really want to know about one thing.

When you describe your services, You said, 'WOWnow is a full service apparel company offering logo design, screen printing, embroidery, sublimation and fulfillment services.'.

My question is, if you are provide full services, Don't you have your own logo designers?

Please don't take this offensively. I'm asking this question because there is a lot of people try to collect 'ideas' from this site. Only 'Ideas'. If my question is too aggressive, please take my apologies in advance. But, well, I have to say again, 'there is a lot'.

So, I'm wondering why wouldn't you ask your designers to do your company's logo design? Isn't it more meaningful to them and you?

This is actually a very good question.
WOWnow is a brand new company, but really a collection of people that have been in the business for a while, many 20 to 30 years. One of our goals is to try not to bring our preconceived ideas and past business methods with us on our new venture.
With this in mind, we decided to see what a group of people who had no idea who we are, would do with our new business name. We almost provided no information about the company (what we did) so that even that information would not influence the designs.

At this point our "creative" design staff is all freelance. We do have several team members who manipulate files, create basic layouts and produce sublimation prints etc.

I have to say. I too wondered how this process would work and what is to keep people from just looking at designs and then invoking the "money back guarantee" That is one of the reasons we indicated we would pay regardless.
It is a bit of a test to see how the process works and the quality of the ideas presented.
To this point, I must say I am impressed with some of the ideas and am looking forward to sharing these with the Team next week. Not sure how we will handle the final selection as I am sure there will be a lot of opinions, but ultimately ends up a decision between my partner and myself.

Do you think this format might be useful to us in the future for creative designs to be used for clients and special events? What has been your experience with the process and results?
