Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We desperately need a new logo for our business, The Expat Center, based in Amsterdam. The current logo has been with the company since the start more than 20 years a go. I feels totally outdated (see picture 1 below).
Our business provides assistance to expats arriving in our country. Helping them to get settled in the smoothest way possible. We can assist with housing, visa, work permits, etc etc.
We like our design to reflect our openness to all different people and cultures we welcome in our beautiful country. We like to see ourselves as a portal through which they can easily enter into their new lives here.
