Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Reusable food wraps made with cotton and either beeswax or plant based wax aimed at reducing usage of single use plastics in particular plastic wrap and snaplock bags. Centered on protecting the natural environment particularly that of New Zealand. Aims to promote Maori values in relation to protecting our environment hence the name Kaitiaki, meaning guardian and the tag line “practice kaitiakitanga” with Kaitiakitanga meaning guardianship of the earth. Kaitiaki Wraps is a small business start up still in the planning stage of development but still looking for a creative logo. The ideal logo would be a simple, rustic design incorporating elements of nature in New Zealand, like the silver fern or any species of fern possibly in a wreath around logo text. Kaitiaki Wraps are about creating minimal waste and therefore acting as guardians of the earth by not contributing to the tremendous amount of plastic pollution already present in the world today, a minimalistic logo would be complementary to this ethos. We really love nature and believe positive environmental behaviours are paramount in the procreation of our earth, we believe promoting Maori values such as kaitiakitanga could implement a sense of belonging to the land and hopefully then encourage the protection of our national environment via small, fun, easily achievable actions such as the use of kaitiaki wraps instead of plastic. We would love our logo to reflect this ethos.

Requisitos

Debes tener

• Main text: “Kaitiaki Wraps” with sun text: “Practice Kaitiakitanga”, simplistic design, incorporation of natural elements such as ferns or other flora of NZ. Simple colour combinations e.g Green fern illustrations/vectors with black text

Agradable de tener

• A natural, rustic design. We like the idea of a logo with text framed by a wreath of ferns (see supplied images)but are open to other interpretations. Font preferences are for script hand drawn style fonts but still clear enough to read e.g letters not overly curled or linked

No debería tener

• Large solid blocks of colour as designs are planned to be spray printed. Multiple small blocks of colour (such as those in supplied images) are okay.
