We need a logo design for our family owned black angus freezer beef operation. We raise our beef on pasture (not large feedlots!) and they are finished on corn for best flavoring and marbling. Our beef is raised all natural which means they do not get any antibiotics or hormones. We raise all of the hay and pasture on our farm for our cows and they are very well taken care of. We have a local state inspected butcher that processes the beef for us and packages and freezes. We need a simple logo that exemplifies our small family farm as well as our family heritage as we are the fifth generation on this farm. Also looking for something that is attractive to local customers (i.e. buy local theme). We have a 100+ year old barn that i would like to use the shape as a backdrop and our company abbreviation WEDOBECO across the end of the barn, perhaps some black angus steers in front of the barn? Open to other ideas as well. Company name is Well Done Beef, LLC but call it Wedobeco for short (i.e. like National Biscuit Company = Nabisco). Pictures attached are the old white historical barn in the foreground (new barn is in the background, disregard). Open to different text options - make it look like a cattle branding iron brand? Barded wire font? Use your imagination!
Actualizaciones
We have decided to use the full name of the company Well Done Beef in the logo rather than WEDOBECO. Also, we recently found out that a few generations ago the farm was called Maple Leaf Farm so any ideas on how to incorporate a subtle maple leaf would be welcome.

Target audience is young families that cook at home and care about what they are feeding their families - hormone free, antibiotic free. Our beef is more expensive than Wal-Mart, so we our customers tend to be middle to upper middle class families (and higher).

- many "beef farms" have a side silhouette of a show steer, that is not what we are looking for here. "We have tasty beef, not pretty beef" - some people are into showing calves but we are into making a healthy and wholesome beef product.
