2 styles-
STYLE (1) Catering for social riders. Artwork to go on a simple Raglan sleeve cycling jersey(top). This will be with matching "Knicks"(cycling shorts-fitted). Both taylered for a womans fit.(see attached images of cycling jerseys named " jersey images I dont like" and 2 images of a white pair of knicks. These are the shape of cycling clothing i will be using.
Your design can be primarily on the jersey with a common thread in the design reflected in the knicks, or possibly the design can be on the knicks with a common colour/design/thread reflected in the top. See attached images for ideas.
re images attached,There is a colorful pair of jeans with a mauve top. Looks great. Something similar in cycling clothing would be great.ie,colorful knicks with a jersey in 1 or 2 colors. Those colors would be the same as colors in the knicks, just like the image attached.Look at the seams where the fabric joins. There is not a good pattern match, but the colours are similar. ie; dark pattern joins with another dark pattern. it doesn't stand out too badly. I have placed other images of interesting jeans and tights for different ideas. Dont forget, I want a top that coordinates with the knicks.bottom.
I have also attached other womens clothes. They are not cycling clothing, but have interesting designs. Look at some of the artworks on t shirts these days . Sometimes they are simple but effective.
I want a co-ordinated outfit, ? colourful, beautiful, appealing to women. Please avoid dark colors. Black and other dark colors can be used, but not too much. Most riders like to be seen. Must consider pattern match as mentioned, with these designs. There will be curved seams at the back of the knicks so can be awkward if a design crosses a seam if the design does not line up exactly. Therefore a design that doesnt look too out of place when 2 pieces of fabric are joined, would be more appropriate. ( I have attached 2 images of a pair of white knicks. These are cycling shorts. It shows some of the seams.)
We are using a process called SUBLIMATION Printing. Fading colors can be awkward at times, but don't be frightened to be creative. I would be open to designs that include photography but be aware the they MUST be high resolution. That means I must be able to have an image that I can shrink down or make slightly larger to fit the clothing range of sizes .
I have seen items of clothing using a mix of ??photography and artwork. I am looking for something creative, appealing and eye catching.
As I said, this is a new range of clothing to help create a new image for cycling women.

STYLE(2) this clothing range will use a similar style of clothing but the design is aimed at more assertive riders. It is aimed at racing female cyclists. These women are more game and are competitive. A design that represents aggressive riders. ?maybe something using keywords such as FREEDOM, TAKE NO PRISONERS ???, your choice.
Maybe bold colours?? Maybe, graffiti, tatoos, Im open for new ideas. I see a competative rider as a warrior going into battle. These women are out to win.
Look at racing clothing such as The Tour De France. Look at the outfits. i DONT want that. I have attached a group of cycling jerseys which I dont like. This artwork Im trying to get away from, but the shape of the jersey will be the same/similar to mine. I want better graphics. I want co ordinated sets. We have detachable sleeves, so your design can flow onto that. if you design a long sleeve version, I dont mind. as i said, it will be
co ordinated. Doesn't necesarily have to be symetrical.
As I said I want a unique image/look.
I do not have a template of cycling jersey or knicks, which is why I attached photos of cycling clothing also. The style of those jerseys is similar to mine, and the knicks shown are the ones I'm using. they are skin tight.

These desings are boring, but are more like what already exists. Put 'WOMEN CYCLING JERSEY IMAGES' into a search and you will see what is already out there. Im looking to do something completely different.
I would love to work with someone creative and artistic. Please, dont be embarrassed to put something forward.

re LOOK AND FEEL refers to the 2nd group. ie; racing female riders

  DARK HORSE represents 'the winner they least expected'. I don't need a horse image.
  
  Animal images I would associate with racing people might include; tigers/dragons/animals that represent 'fierce'. These are some examples of where I want this to go.

No debería tener

• Too much pink/purple
  some people think that women want pink outfits. Wrong!
  Hot pink with other bold colors are OK, but please don't make a feature of the pink.
