Resumen de Diseño de Logo

The objective is to MANIPULATE our existing logo to reflect the qualities of the 7 film characters that are listed below. Our logo is included and must be the starting point of every submission. Please DO NOT REDESIGN the existing logo nor submit a new JD logo but simply play with it as described above.

Things you can do to the logo are:

a) Change the color, add texture to it (ie. make it look like a stone logo) or put patterns in it

b) Put onto animals, carved on surfaces.
- Please do not simply paste the logo over the animal. Would be nice to see it blend within the image or have the animal interact with the logo.

c) The logo is elastic, it could be squeezed or pulled to fit into the shape of something like a heart, or an old computer that had the bigger monitors, a knife blade but if it is not becoming the shape of something recognizable it should be left alone.

d) Have stuff added to it like dripping blood etc, stabbed it with something.

With these in mind, please produce the Variations of the logo that should be linked to or associated with the 7 film characters. Each character has identifying qualities, personalities and should be visually captured through the logo manipulation.

ABOUT THE FILM:
This film is about seven damaged teens who kill a child abuser, it is a dark tale. Each of the seven kids are unique, but all are broken teens 17-19 yrs old. We want to get some variations of the logo to attach to the characters.

1. Danny is the leader his colors are blue/grey. He is the Lion of the pack, and anything associated with this animal would be cool, he is
solid and reliable so something like a dam or foundation stone would also suit.

2. Sarah's character's colour is red and she is connected to the knife. Animal closest to her is a snake

3. Marko is the tough guy, black and grey are his colors.
- the logo could be put on a fist with a set of knuckle dusters, or just make the logo look tougher by putting it onto a rock or steel
looking background or design. The animal most related to his character is a bear.

4. Nick is the Smart ass, rebel, so anything rebellious would be cool, like spray graffiti, motorbike etc. dark color. The animal most related to her character is a wolf.

5. Lin is the violence abstainer, her colors are more pastels and she becomes the nurse. You could incorporate the logo into the red cross or a nurse image, as she is the career.

6. Chris is the computer nerd, you could make the JD into a computer shape like the old Macs, or perhaps think "digital, pixels"

7. Ryker is our cool boy, chrome hexagons etc, gold. Animal closest to this character is an eagle. You can use anything that could express coolness.

Please feel free to put the characters name into or under the logo, but it does not have to be there.
The knife is an integral part of the story so you could use put the logo onto a blade. The knife is a standard kitchen knife as shown. The
knife is mainly associated with the Sarah character but we would be looking for some group promotional images as well.

The logo eventually becomes a tatoo so anything that fits in along these lines would be good also. Please check out and follow jdsthemovie on instagram for more ideas and inspirations.

We are looking to buy the copyright for the one winner and up to 10 place designs at $A50 each. So this is a multiple winner competition if you're happy selling your the copyright on your design at this fee if it places.
