Resumen de Diseño de Empaque

We are looking for a logo and packaging design (sticks and metal cans) for an instant coffee brand. We are based in Senegal, West Africa. The design shall reflect a modern international image, with maybe an ethnic touch. We already have an idea about the brand name and logo. The brands available in our market usually show a coffee mug & coffee beans on their packaging, but this is not a must.
Packaging colors turn around browns and reds. The attached lion head image shall be part of our logo.
I envisage 2 options. Either we go with the classic designs available in our market (as per images attached. Showing mug with beans. Brown/red colors). Or we go for something more abstract/designed, with the risk of getting out of the ordinary.
