We are looking for a new design for our website (run on WordPress). We currently have two websites (cramtopass.com) and (diontraining.com) and are trying to combine them into a single design.
The site should contain the following sections (Start Here, courses, labs, practice exams, exam vouchers, books, articles, about us).
Start Here - With so many options on our site, we think it would be a good idea to have this page that will allow us to give students an overview of our different products/services and where to start when they first find out about our company.
Courses - These are our online video courses (products), currently hosted at diontraining.com. Each course has its own "product page".
Labs - These are online lab environments that a student can purchase. The layout for these would be similar to a course, but the purchase option will be different (our web developer will code all the back end stuff to make it work).
Practice Exams - This will allow students to take practice questions to study for their exams.
Exam Vouchers - Students can purchase their exam vouchers here at a discounted price for their certification exams.
Books - Will link to a page that displays our books that are available on Amazon. (Examples of the covers are attached so you can see our current designs.)
Articles - This will be our "blog" area for us to post articles each week.
About Us - A short about us page describing our company.
***
As for the design of the page itself, we like the current color scheme at diontraining.com, but the layout isn't working well. It was fine when we just had video courses, but as we have added new products it is becoming more and more cumbersome.
I have been looking for inspiration around the web, and saw smartpassiveincome.com as a good example of trying to provide focus to new users, while breaking out various parts of a business that contains 4-6 different product lines/topics. Another example of a site we like is videoschoolonline.com.
That said, we aren't looking to simply copy either site, and are completely open to recommendations and designs you may have.
Thank you and we look forward to working with you!
