Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I am starting an organization (podcast, blog, website) which studies worldview through classical Western literature and philosophy, from a Christian perspective. The goal is to educate Christians on the rich history of thinkers; and offer non-Christians a compelling view of how Christianity addresses essential questions that have been asked since the beginning of civilization.I have little vision for the logo, artwork or color scheme. I will say that I want to stay away from cheesy Christian imagery (like a wooden cross or golden gates). The final product should look academic, credible and approachable rather than "churchy."

(1) An article "The" before "Well Read Christian" might make things clearer, cleaner and better sounding for full wordmark logos. Could we try "The Well Read Christian"? I think it might be an effective change.

(2) I like a lot of what has come in already! However, I would also like to explore an alternate direction that I had not previously considered. What images come to mind with the words "classical," "literature," "worldview" or "philosophy"? A step in that direction might strike my non-artistic mind as golden.

• I trust an artist's vision, but it seems to me that any sort of brown cross or golden gate in an attempt to convey the "Christian" part of Well Read Christian will just come across as cheesy and Sunday-schoolish. The goal is academic and credible, not come-to-Jesus seminar.
