We are re-opening as a middle school for students in grades 6-8 in the fall of 2019 and looking for a new logo design. The primary school color is a medium navy blue, Pantone 3591 C. Secondary colors are red and white, similar colors to the American flag, that work with the Pantone blue above. The school mascot is the eagle. We want this logo to be something that our students will connect to and be proud of and that our community and those around us will easily identify as the Snoqualmie Middle School Eagles. The school sits in the Snoqualmie Valley, a semi-rural landscape surrounded by classic Cascade mountain views. The environment is Pacific Northwest personified. We have historic ties to the local Snoqualmie Tribe. Designs sympathetic to Pacific Northwest Native American art traditions would be an advantage but by no means a mandate for the design. We are looking for an image that is proud, true, and strong, but relatable, memorable, and with a hint of fun. The logo will be used to represent our school in multiple applications, including: print, digital, dark backgrounds, light backgrounds, clothing, uniforms, banners, and general signage. We are looking for a clean, versatile logo that is recognizable and looks good in all of these various applications. Prefer some defined boundaries to make the logo feel cohesive, although breaking the plane is completely fine. Finished files needed: vector version, jpeg.
