Resumen de Diseño de Logo
We need a logo design for our new business based out of Madison WI called "EmLyd's Home Stays" with a possible tagline of "Feel at home". We work directly with rental property owners by renting their properties and then putting them on the short term rental market such as Airbnb. What sets us apart is we're a small family based business that puts healthy relationships first as a foundation to earning the trust needed to enable good business transactions to develop into win win outcomes for all parties involved. The final design should communicate trust, professionalism and warmth.
Actualizaciones
I do not have a strong preference on my colors even though you'll notice I picked orange and blue. The main thing about color is I want it to be simple with few colors and a clean look. For example, the main theme may be black and gray with a small but complementary highlight color thrown in to give it a little life.
I'm also realizing I would prefer the outcome of this logo to convey trust and warmth over professionalism.

I good point was brought up within my small circle of business partners (aka my wife and me) while we were looking over the designs submitted thus far.
The point is that though this is a professionally run, clean looking business it's a family run business that really needs to communicate human connection and relationship first over everything else. Thus the need to communicate trust and warmth through how this logo looks in the end. Many of these designs have parts of this but are still missing the human connection and feeling to the overall feel of the image portrayed.
I don't think this is easy and that's why I've entrusted you guys to fulfill this for our business. I greatly appreciate the creativity that is coming out and being shared.

- I would also like color but don't like the idea of too much. Mostly just as a highlight. I am open to creativity and other ideas though. I will be working very closely with AirBnb so that should be taken into account.
