To change the future for orphans and vulnerable children through a holistic program addressing their health and safety, providing opportunity for learning, encouraging a positive, hope-filled outlook and empowering them to succeed.
We work with children who head households or who are growing up without consistent parenting. Girls are particularly vulnerable to abuse. Our Vision is
is a safe living environment where their physical, mental, spiritual and emotional wellbeing are addressed, education is supported and skills are developed such that the children embrace their personal worth, live hope filled lives, and reach their full potential.
SOHO envisions model programs effectively addressing the social issues of abuse, gender based inequity and poverty, empowering youth and women to be agents of positive social change in their communities.
