Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a logo for a new venture I am starting. The name of the company is FranStar Franchise Brokers. We are a company that helps people find the franchise opportunity that is best for them. We are a guide, a coach, and a mentor to help people sort through the thousands of franchise opportunities and discover if franchising is right for them and if so, which opportunity is best. I came up with the name FranStar because I was thinking about two references that could be used for branding. The first is the star as a guide post, think the north star, a constant stable presence to help those who are navigating in unfamiliar territory or waters. The second reference was the in my clients becoming stars, in finding an opportunity where they could excel.I have always been someone who takes their business seriously but myself lightly. I want a logo that looks professional, but not stuffy. I am a 50yo guy who is 6'4" tall with a shaved head and a big, but groomed, mustache and beard. I am a retired C level executive who has opened and sold a number of successful businesses. I run this business from a house on a lake in the Smoky Mountains. This has to be a logo that reflects who I am and makes sense when I hand a card to someone. This card needs to reflect integrity, approachability and professional support.I am open on colors but don't give me glitzy gold/silver or bubble gum pastels. Reds, blues, dark grays, mountain greens, khakis are all things I like but I am open to recommendations from those with far more artistic and design sensibility than myself.While the name of the company is FranStar Franchise Brokers I would like a version of the logo that just focused on the FranStar and the Franchise Brokers portion could be absent or secondary as a design element. I want to be able to use this logo on business cards, websites, social media etc. So something that could be built out by the winner into a complete branding package.
