Lost sales due to late deliveries or long lead times: Customers go to other suppliers for faster, more reliable delivery when manufacturers can’t streamline flow and delivery on-time.

Capacity wasted due to change-overs and cleanouts: Failure to sequence work efficiently can cause a 10% or more effective capacity lost every month
