We need a logo designed for a farming company based in North America. We grow lettuce, microgreens, herbs and other leafy greens indoors with proprietary technology. The product is grown indoors and close to the cities it will be sold in.
Local - The lettuce is still living and grown locally. This ensures that it's the freshest and best tasting on the market. It has not traveled thousands of kilometres losing taste and nutrition while in transit.
Living - The product is harvested with the roots still attached
Environment - The carbon footprint is lower than traditional produce because fuel is not used to transport the product thousands of miles to the end consumer. The technology reduces water consumption during the growing process by up to 95% vs produce grown in a field. No pesticides are used during growing .
In order of importance, the logo design should communicate:
1) produce is grown locally.
2) produce is still living while on grocery store shelves
3) it's healthier than traditional produce
4) it's environmentally friendly
The logo can have images or can be just words. It can also include the word 'farms' or have imagery to indicate that Living Local is a farm.
