Hello everyone. In the designs posted so far there has been a lot of focus on the wordmark and less on the logo. A strong logo would serve as a valuable brand identifier. Kindly note that we are not machinists, so a logo that is overtly mechanical (ie. gears) is not representative of our business. Also we are not oil producers, so a logo depicting a rig or a drop of oil is similarly unrepresentative.
Currently the favoured wordmark is based on a fairly plain sans serif font, so the logo should be similarly reserved. Perhaps a stylised B?
The preferred font at the moment is based on the German DIN font. Hope that helps.

I have played with some 3D geometry that forms a B when viewed at a particular angle. Perhaps this may provide some guidance. I have uploaded two image files showing my idea.
