Resumen de Diseño de Logo
We need a logo design for the 'Neighbors to Friends' community yard sale based in Cedar Hill, TX, a large suburb of Dallas. What we need is simple: a design that will attract fashionistas, families, little old ladies, and teens... old-fashioned and charming, yet bright and edgy. I prefer colors like orange, fuschia, yellow... love filigree designs... and possibly even cartoon images of people and towns.
Founded in November 2013, it was our vision to unite Cedar Hill neighbors for a day of fun, shopping, and support of a local charity. Our vendors pay $20 for two parking spaces to sale their items, we handle all of the marketing and logistics, and whatever they don't sale is donated on-site to a local charity thrift store. A portion of our proceeds are also given to the selected charity. During our first event, we had nearly 50 families and nonprofits to participate; donated $120 and four truckloads of items to the Cedar Hill Food Pantry and their thrift store; over 2000 people “liked” our Facebook page; and we had nearly 600 customers throughout the day!
We have grown to a semi-annual event, and will soon include a Kidpreneur section, furniture restoration classes, fashion shows, and performances.

I'd like to first thank all of you for sharing a small piece of your creative genius with my project. It means the world to me. After receiving your submissions, I have done some research, and need to narrow my ideas for you. Here is what I am looking for:
If you Google "vintage logos", you will see images that are similar to my preference. Simple, old fashioned, classy, and trendy. My target audience is fashionistas, old ladies, families, all nationalities...
A circular vintage image (black and white, or soft pink and black, etc.) with a red vintage chair, for example... I hope this helps a little???

You have all made this so difficult, as I have seen about 7 designs that I can't live without! lol. All of your designs will show well on our facebook page and print material. However, a key selection criteria will be: how visible and clear will this design be on small yard sale signs, as well as, large banners... Will the message that this is a community yard sale be lost in the art?
