What is better/easier for future ecommerce functionality, wordpress or html/css?

In my profile on the Design Crowd website, the closure date for your Starter & Alternator business website submissions is stated as 3rd July and not 2nd July. I assumed it was an update on the originally stated date in the brief.

I have just discovered the project is already closed, although I have prepared a fully fledged website online and am wondering whether I would be permitted to still submit this work? I have published the website under my own name where you can view it, if you should be interested.

I am a professional graphic designer and website builder. I think you will find it well worth a look.

Let me know if you are interested and I shall forward the URL for you to access the website. It is sufficiently complete for you to obtain a very good idea of my level of competence, and also the available features, style and the ease of working with the platform. It is a dual platform where you have access to code if you wish to manually write strings or you can simply paste content directly onto the page as well.

Hi Penelope, I do not see the design anywhere.

Thank you kindly for your reply. Yes, that's right - once a project is closed, the submit button is removed and therefore I am unable to submit anything to you, the reason for my message here.

For you to see the partially complete live website, it would probably be simpler if I could message the URL to you, via the private message platform available between customers and designers, however as I have been unable to submit any design, that too is not open to me for this project. It is only opened once a submission is made, which I have been unable to make.

If you are sufficiently interested in seeing what I have built, perhaps you could contact whoever at Design Crowd handles customer projects at their end and perhaps they will be happy to open up the message platform for us to communicate?

I do apologise for this, but in my Design Crowd Watch List - where I earmarked your project in my profile - it clearly states the closure date is July 3. I was aware that it said July 2 in your original Brief but assumed the later date was an update - customers frequently do extend the date, so I did not think twice about it.

Unfortunately, I can't publish the URL here, so I think it will be necessary for us to try to obtain approval from Design Crowd and perhaps they can arrange for the message platform to be operative between us - that is if you are willing to drop them a line and point them to this discussion - hopefully then someone will contact me.

I note you have now extended the date to July 7, although it does not appear to be any extension time for the acceptance of submissions.

The project is still closed and pending your decision, unless that is what you intended, so I still cannot submit my work nor contact you via the customer/designer message platform - the project is still closed to me, as are these platforms.
