Thanks - this is not bad. Needs something a little different though, and I can't work out what.
* Monochrome is better than colour - but can we try bolder/brighter... rather than pastel?

* Lose the man/father, and move the boy closer to the mother... keeping them both in the Botton left corner.

* Can you think of any way to get a music reference/suggestion in the design?
