A General Note:
•We are rearranging the label content to allow for more space and creativity on the front label with the goal to create more attractive and attention grabbing labels for our products as we prepare to enter the bricks and mortar retail world. Currently our products are available online only.
Please create separate color schemes for Original and Autoflower Recipes. The designs should be aesthetically consistent across the board and at the same time, distinct from each other. (Original Recipe bags are matte black, Autoflower Recipe bags are glossy silver)
We hope the instructions below are clear. We realize they are detailed and invite any questions.

Front Labels
Must Contain:
•Logo
• Original Blend or Autoflower Blend, with more emphasis on the words: Original or Autoflower than the word: Blend. This can translate into size or font or whatever you’d like.
•Net Weight (1lb or 5lbs)
•Living Soil Concentrate

Please present the following words/ideas on the Front Labels in the best way to help create an overall unified aesthetic:
•Simple, Easy, & Organic
•Just add Water from Seed to Harvest
•Promotes Root-Ball Growth for Better Nutrient & Water Uptake
•Stronger Plants & Bigger Flowers
•Increases Harvest & Potency

The correct bar code for the product.


Back Labels:
There will be 2 Back label designs, one for Original and one for Autoflower.
The differences will be in:
1) Color scheme
2) The name of the product
3) Some possible small changes in the text

Must Contain:
•Nature’s Living Soil logo. Not as prominently as on the front. Blend in where it makes sense.
•Original Recipe or Autoflower Recipe

•A Graphic Diagram with 4 (increased from 3) steps. (You can use the graphic we have provided or make a better one.):

*Instructions for use with a 5-gallon container.
Step1:
Fill your container approximately 1/3 full of potting mix.
Step2:
Thoroughly mix in One pound of Natures Living Soil Starter.
Step3:
Add remaining potting mix and water thoroughly.
Step4:
Plant your seed or cutting in your container. Water and wait! Keep your soil moist – not too wet.


Teeming with 16 ingredients plus a special blend of bacteria and fungus, this concentrate, when combined with organic soil and water, creates a healthy, natural, organic living soil, which will generate and provide all the nutrients needed - from seed to harvest - for your plant to reach its maximum genetic potential. The result: Bigger, stronger plants with larger flowers producing unmatched flavor, aroma, and yield.

Ingredients: Earthworm Castings, Fossilized Bat Guano, Blood Meal, Bone Meal, Fish Bone Meal, Pulverized Rock Phosphate, Dolomyte Lime, Azomite, Neem Seed Meal, Kelp Meal, Oyster Shell Meal, Humic Acids, Epsom Salt, Coconut water powder, Aloe Vera, Molasses, Glomus Intradices and other bacteria and fungi. NOTE: Contents of bag may have a foul smell when opened. This is normal. The smell will go away after a few days. Fungus resembling mold may develop. Also normal.

At the bottom of the label:
“*For containers not 5-gallons in size, use approximately one-half cup, or 3 ounces, of Nature’s Living Soil Concentrate for each gallon of container size. Under 3 gallons: see website for instructions.”
“**For best results use ‘Great Beginnings Seed-Starter’ from Nature’s Living Soil.”

Original Post (which still contains valid information):
Who: Nature's Living Soil produces, packages, and distributes organic super soil for plants, herbs, and flowers. We utilize 1 and 5-pound coffee bags to package our products. We print sticker/labels, then hand-apply them on the bags.

What: We are changing label vendors and want to take advantage of new printing capabilities to redesign our current product labels - for new sizes and a slightly updated look and feel.

Our request: We have uploaded one Back-label and four Front label designs, along with some additional art. They are all formatted for laser-printing on at 3.25inches wide x 4inches tall label. Please replicate/update each, for a total of five designs. The first, the back-label design, should be produced in two sizes, as further described below.

We have one design for the back of all of the bags. We will need to use this one design for two sizes.

Design 1. Back-labels: The first design will need to be 2.75inches wide x 4inches tall and the second will need to be 5inches wide x 6inches tall.

The above back-label designs will be used for all 4 product SKUs.

We have two products, each being available in the 1 and 5 pound sizes, for a total of four, and will need updated front labels for each.

Design 2 and 3: The attached 1-pound labels, both Original and Autoflower, will change from the old size of 3.25x4 to 2.75inches wide x 4inches tall.

Design 4 and 5: The 5-pound labels, both Original and Autoflower, will be changed to 5inches wide x 6inches tall.

The artwork we have uploaded is all we have available. It includes separate logos and UPC codes.

Further Details: You will need to adapt our current label designs into your new designs by recreating the labels (with your particular design approach applied - we are interested in your take!) and providing them to us in a standard format that we can provide to our label printing vendor for 4-color process printing. We would like to be able to manipulate objects (particularly text) ourselves in the future.

Please note that Original Recipe labels are used on matte black bags. Autoflower Recipe labels are used on Silver, glossy bags.
