Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Why innovation! is a consultancy specialised in accelerating digital transformation by increasing business agility and digital innovation. Over the past years, the company has helped many big companies to tackle innovation challenges by nurturing a culture of agility and enhancing the development of new digital products, services and ways of working. We are setting up an innovation lab for workshops, trainings, events and experimental projects. The name “YD8” originates from “ideate”, which is an essential step in design thinking process. We changed the starting “i” into “Y” to present our company name “why innovation!”. We used “D” to represent digital. Finally, we used number “8” in replace of “-deate” because it showcases modernity and also “8” is a lucky number in most of the cultures. At one point of time, we thought of iterating “8” into the infinite sign “∞” to advocate for continuous innovation and “DevOps” framework. However, it brings the risk of people not recognising “8” easily and pronounce the lab name in a wrong way, e.g. “y-d-infinite”.We’d like to employ some creative brains to help us develop a visual presentation of the lab name that blends in all the above ideas such as innovation, design thinking, digital, transformation, change, agility, mindset, fun, passion, etc. We'd like to keep the "y" in a circle while you can use your creativity to iterate the "D" and "8" and "lab". We'd like to keep all three main colors in the logo design.
