Thank you all for these awesome submissions! It'll be very difficult to pick. My plan is to refine some of these with you to narrow it down to a number of finalists, and then send those out for review among my friends and colleagues to collect their feedback. I will certainly pick one these submissions as the winner, though.

Some patterns I'm noticing that I'll clarify here. I tend to gravitate toward the logos with capital letters - maybe they're communicating more boldness? Also, don't forget that it would be great to see a version with the nickname "Impact I/O", as well as a version with the formal name "Impact I/O Consulting, LLC". I don't know if it needs an actual comma, and I'm sure it's easy to take the last part off to make the nickname, but I think I will use both depending on the situation.

Also, I'm curious, can you only see your own designs, or can you see the others that I've given stars to, or can you see everything that's been submitted to the contest?

Yes, we can only see our own designs. We can see in written form how many entries have been given a "4+ star rating" but that is the only information that is available. The designs themselves can not be seen. After the winning entry has been selected, the project owner can then decide to display the winning entry to all participants if the project owner choose to do so.

Thanks for the info. I suppose that's fair, it wouldn't be good for a designer to make slightly different versions of a unique concept by another designer that had gotten a good review.
