Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo for a new company based on Ohio called 'Sherwood 1" We provide consulting services for Telecommunications, Cloud Services and Digital Marketing. I need the logo to be contemporary, professional and people who see it to understand that it it probably an IT company. An idea we had was to make the "1" a tree with the branches being some kind of circuit. We are playing off the theme of Sherwood Forest from Robin Hood stories, and that Sherwood 1 guides businesses through the forest of IT. I would guess that the colors would somehow use green, but very open to ideas, and will provide feedback.
