Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a logo for a new mobile app startup project of mine. The name is MoxieJam. It will be a social media app focusing initially on music, but eventually TV, movies and books. The main functionality will be based on the creation and sharing of lists (in music terminology, "playlists"). For example, a user can create a playlist of their favorite happy pop songs and share in a feed, much like in an Instagram story and on TikTok.

The key theme for the logo is a fun application for fans to create and share lists and to discover other people's favorite lists.

Here are some basic guidelines for the logo:

- I like a modern, minimalist approach. It should be able to be reproduced monochromatically on merchandise, like hats, t-shirts, etc.

-It should evoke some fun, but not to take away from being professional.

- I'd like a graphic image, or icon, that somehow relates to the idea of lists. Maybe using lines or striations.

- The icon would be placed to the left or on top of the wordmark. Spotify's logo would be a good example of what I'm looking for.

- The icon should also be able to be a standalone app icon on iOS & Android, just like icons from Spotify, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube.

- I envision the wordmark might have different treatments for the separate words "Moxie" and "Jam". Maybe different fonts or different colors or just different styles (e.g. bold). This isn't mandatory, just an idea to consider.

• Must have an accompanying icon that will be used in the logo as well as the icon used to represent the app on a mobile device.

Agradable de tener

• - For the icon color, I am leaning to orange or red. In the project brief, I have attached a file contain color swatches - I like the middle orange color and the red to the far right.
• - I prefer the letters to *not* be all uppercase, like this MOXIEJAM. I think that will be hard to read. You can use other combinations, such as MoxieJam or MoxieJAM. You also use color or styling (bold, different font, different color) for one of the two words.
• - You can use horizontal lines, curved lines or striations to represent lists that will be created in the app. Please do not use the commonly used, very literal symbol of a list, a dot next to a horizontal line. That will not convey the idea of fun.
• - I attached an icon of a star, which was used for an earlier version of our logo (www.moxiejam.com). You can use it as is or you can modify to incorporate the idea of lists and/or discovery. It is *not* required that you use the star.

No debería tener

• For the icon, I don't want to use the initials M and J. I prefer the icon to have more meaning to the app - a fun way to share lists of favorite music, movies, TV shows and books.
• The icon should also not contain music symbols or symbols that don't have meaning to each of our categories: music, movies & videos, books. For example, the play symbol has meaning in a music and video player, but does not relate to books so it wouldn't be a good symbol to use in the icon.
