Resumen de Diseño de Logo
I need a colorful yet simple logo for a financial company. The company's name is Painted Horse Financial. The idea is to have a running horse outline (see attached), but where there is the black outline, it is "painted" in color (see the colorful horse attachment). Specifically described below:
1) Only one horse. And the horse is to be an outline running, not a full image of a horse. Running either right to left or left to right.
2) This outline is what I want in color. There should be no color inside the horse at all. Imagine we're creating a stamp here that is an outline and the coloring will be what we "stamp" onto the outline.
3) Take a look at the attached image, "Running horse outline." Where this image is black, I'd like to have the "color" giving the "Painted Horse" feel. There will be no color inside the horse at all. No eyes, or nostrils. Just the outline, and, for this image, ignore the line beneath the horse denoting the ground. I only want the horse running outline.
4) As far as what I mean by "color," please see the attached image, "Painted Horse Color." Specifically, look at the oil paint colors making up the horse's mane.
5) To obtain the outline color, imagine the "Running horse outline" image is a stamp and the oil on the mane in the image "Painted Horse Color" is wet. "Stamp" the outline onto the "wet" mane oil painting then press the stamp on a white sheet of paper. The "Painted Horse Financial" logo would, in essence, be that colorful outline. That's it.
6) As to the logo text, "Painted Horse Financial", that would be in simple black lettering beneath the logo. This I would defer to what might look best, but playing around with fonts on Microsoft Word, I liked:
- Bookman Old Style
- Georgia
- Century
7) I just wanted to add I am also open to ideas where the color is added within the horse outline. Google "Painted horses" and where there are brown (or whatever color) blotches on the body of the horse, I am also open to putting the "color" from the "Painted Horse Color" attached image (or similar coloring) where the blotches are within the horse outline. Just another option to put out there!
Thanks so much to everyone helping with the design!!

Debes tener
- For ideas of the type of color or "paint" in the outline of the horse or as the "filler" inside the horse take a look at the Barbara Meikle website here: https://www.meiklefineart.com/sold-works.php?aid=1&cat=2
Trying to be as descriptive as possible to the artists out there: Imagine you have a branding iron of a horse running that is pressed into a colorful area from one of the oil paintings in the website above. Then, press the branding iron onto a white paper. The resulting outline would be the painted horse logo (in all its color) with the INSIDE completely white. The mane and border would hold all the color.
Option B as noted in point 7 would be a similar image of a painted horse running (please see the attached images for examples), but WITHIN the horse where the brown/black blotches are, would be the same oil colors as above. Please keep the white part of the horse so that we can see the color distinction. In other words, don't "paint" the entire body of the horse.
Please contact me with any questions!! And THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Agradable de tener
- Overall theme of the company/website will connote the freedom, power, and majesty of wild horses untamed and charging ahead.
No debería tener
- Multiple horses. Only 1 horse.
