Resumen de Diseño Infográfico
UPDATE 5/25/20 - 2nd page of this design entitled Zero-Based Committee Model. JPG image attached. Please use the same color scheme - this has minimal committee structure.
I need a graphic design, part infogram and part story board that explains the governance/operations of 2 sister nonprofit organizations - American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and Association of Orthopaedic Surgery (both referred to as AAOS). The Academy's color is red; the Association's color is blue. One board of directors in the center for both organizations. [NOTE: orthopaedic is spelled with an "a" after the letter "p".]
I uploaded a rough drawing, the AAOS logo and an example of the type of complicated operations I'd like to depict in the image.
Surrounding AAOS is a set of 4 councils - Education, Research & Quality, Membership, Advocacy. The Council on Advocacy (under the Association blue color) has an affiliated political action committee - PAC. The COA and PAC should be on the association (blue) side and beyond the COA and PAC should be an image of the US capital building and patients.
Four committees report to the board of directors - Committee on Ethics and Outside Interests (CEOI), Board of Councilors (BOC) and Board of Specialty Societies (BOS), and the Professional Compliance Program committees (PCP). Three committees report to AAOS members - Nominating Committee (NC), Bylaws Committee (BC) and Resolutions Committee (RC).
Each Council has 10 subcommittees under it.
The NC has 6 members - the 2nd past president appointed by the BOD; 1 member appointed jointly by the BOC and BOS; and 4 members elected by the membership.
The BOC has 100 members appointed by societies in each of the 50 states (an image of the US with the letters SOS).
The BOS members are appointed by 21 smaller specialty societies (use acronyms AAKHS, OTA, ASES, ASIA, HS, KS, RJOS, RJGOS, MSTS, ASSH, AOSSM, AOFAS, AAHS, CSRS, LLRS, MIS, AANA, NASS, ORS, SOMOS, SRS).
The Board of Directors is composed of 16 individuals - 4 in the presidential line (president, 1st and 2nd vice presidents and the past president); 3 are appointed by the BOC; 3 are appointed by the BOS; and the remaining 6 are elected by the members.
There are 2 governing documents that circulate around the organizations, bylaws amendments and resolutions. Each starts with the BOC and BOS simultaneously, moves up to the Board of Directors, goes out to their respective committees (BC and RC) and each committee is sent to the outside edges of the picture where the members stand. Members should fill in the gaps all the way around the outside of the organization.

- I'd like this to be a village, with the main organization at the center as the biggest structure, the councils, commitees and BOS and BOS units around it as smaller structures. There should be roads running throughout to connect the various buildings and the people.
