We need a logo design for a small air charter business based in Moorabbin, Australia. At this stage just one aircraft, a Piper Chieftain PA-31, twin engine, 10 seater. The fleet may be expanded in time. The craft has just been totally refurbed with an emphasis on passenger comfort.
Our tour company partner (separate entity, and will market tours under their own brand) anticipate that our primary market will be groups travelling to holiday/recreational locations. There are many destinations within an hour or two flying such as world acclaimed golf courses, casinos, high end resorts/foodie/vineyards. (Many of these are in Tasmania - requiring an over-water flight.)
Additionally, there are many Australian outback destinations which offer a unique holiday experience.
However, the craft will also be available for business and small cargo flights, not just holiday makers.
The design should therefore be appropriate for both the holiday and business user.
The craft's livery colours are maroon and tan. See photo. The interior palette is charcoal. However, the logo may end up on other craft with different colours, so we have no mandatory colour schemes or design elements, other than the design obviously needs to communicate the experience of flight. (You might like to consider that flights will be both over water and into the Australian outback.) Safety is an important consideration for small plane flyers, and it therefore also needs to convey 'safe, professional' etc.
The logo will be used on the plane, company stationery and consumer facing marketing platforms and materials.
The trading name is 'Rago Aerial Services', chosen as a nod to a personal hero - Clyde V. Cessna, aviation pioneer, designer, and founder of Cessna Aircraft Corporation, who grew up in the early 1900s in the rural community of Rago (Kingman County) Kansas.
Our domain is ragoair.com.au.
The logo design can be shortened to either Rago Air as two words, or one RagoAir.
