Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo designed for a new garden design company based in the upper valley (VT/ NH bedroom community for Dartmouth College professionals).

We design, install and maintain flower and food garden systems at (typically wealthy) homes and businesses.

Image should not scream out that it was produced on a computer. It should look as neat and crisp as if a professional garden designer drafted it with a pencil on her drafting table.

We are a family owned and operated, local, whole system/ ecologically focused, chemical free, beneficial to humans, our pets, and pollinators.

Differentiated from "big business", garden centers, landscapers, or tree pruning services

aim for two tone: Use natural earth tones, open to options, but in general, greens and black are good, try to avoid browns, oranges and pinks . The logo should be a symbol that can stand alone without text and portray that we are garden designers.




the design should include a hint of grid influence, theme, or background that portrays that we are professional designers. Also working in the image of roots and a flower in a way to not clutter or overwhelm.

I suggest googling what a 'garden design graph" looks like.

EASY TO READ aka neither wordy nor too intricate, nor cutesy, nor clutter, nor cursive. however, a hint of elegance

"garden" must also be big enough to read from afar

Circular in nature, can be easily converted to be a patch or sticker

above all : SIMPLE, CLEAN, EASY TO READ, STAND ALONE
