The size specified is more indicative of a button then a banner. Standard banner size include 480x60.
Please specify how this is going to be used in a website.

okay, I must not understand what I was ordering, I need a banner for my business I have a banner stand and that
is the dimentions of the banner stand, it is upright . Please let me know if I am not ordering the right thing. Thank you. Lois

The stand being upright - you mean that the longest length of the banner is vertical?

I also just wanted to let you know you might need a different set of design parameters for different medias.
For instance print work is high resolution while web design uses lower resolution. Colors are also different in print then web. They both have their own set of design parameters.

I am guessing you want a multi purpose design, and the "banner" is not for a web page but for a print banner and that the specified size is in inches? Is it horizontal?
