Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are a management consulting firm that does high end management consulting with senior executives, similar to companies like McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, or BCG. We need a serious looking logo and theme that evokes feelings of quality, intelligence, and competence, and also cutting edge thinking. Once we have a logo, we would like to formulate the color scheme in the design of a powerpoint template, but it feels like a logo is the first step. Our preferred colors are Shades of blues, grays, and orange/yellow for emphasis (see attached file). The final logo that we purchase will need to have two versions, one with the company name only, and one with the company name and tagline. We've explored a a mountain theme, but other theme options or a typeface alone could also work. I will not select a logo that uses "B&C" as this is not a short form of the company name.
