Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo design for a company based in Northern California called 'Chalk & Awe'. The Brand is focused in the exercise/wellness space with the name being a play on words referring to the chalk weightlifters use to get a better grip on barbells/kettlebells/etc. Our initial project includes a dropshipping site (Shopify), and FB & IG. We are also going to be offering Print on Demand gear shortly thereafter.

My mind was swirling around the idea of the ampersand being a kettlebell... but I'm open to anything! I'd like to see the design fairly simplistic, but rugged while being mostly black and white (playing on the contrast of white chalk and black weights)
