Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are two brothers and are repositioning our uncle's metalworking business. Since we operate under a new name, we are looking for a logo that suits us. The old name of the company was "Metallbau Gümpelein". The new one will be officially "Metallbau Christ GmbH". However, we want to advertise with the name "Die Metallbaubrüder" (means "Iron Brothers" in English). We produce pretty much everything that can be embellished with metal in your own home. These include balcony systems, railings, staircases, French balconies, fences, roofs, carports, ...

The old logo of our uncle (Metallbau Gümpelein) is attached as a file. Basically, we have nothing against pictograms. Our first draft only contains the first letters of our last name (Christ) in the form of a double-T (H-beam). This is also attached as a file.

However, we are still rather dissatisfied with this and are therefore open to all ideas and are happy about any interest in designing a logo with us! Our name "Die Metallbaubrüder" or formally "Metallbau Christ GmbH" does not necessarily have to be included in the logo (the idea of somehow incorporating the pictogram of the old logo into the new one can also be taken into account when designing, as the old company uses the Logo already enjoys a higher level of awareness in the area).
As a suggestion: You are also welcome to work with shapes that are common in our trade: Hollow section tubes, round tubes, U-bars, T-bars, solid bars, ...

Our website is still under construction. In order to be able to better introduce ourselves and our company, it can still be viewed at "www.die-metallbaubrueder.de".
The color of the logo should be designed in gray and purple, as this should be our company colors.

• We love the idea with the circle. What if the circle was made out of a welding hose that overlapps at the bottom like the one in the picture?
  
  Not sure what that would look like but it might be fun to try
