My family (Peoples-Ellis) is holding its 46th annual family reunion in 2021 in New York City. We originally had planned to have the reunion in 2020 in NYC, but we postponed until next year due to Covid-19. I have attached the logo I created for 2020 reunion...but I am looking to use a different logo for 2021. The 2020 logo I have uploaded uses a black background....but we created versions of the same logo that works on a white background, as well as a version with no background.

I am looking for a 2021 logo that will incorporate our family name (Peoples-Ellis). You have the option of using "Family Reunion" in the logo or not having that at all. The location of our reunion is (New York City) - but we will be holding the reunion in the Harlem neighborhood of NYC - so the logo design can focus on either Harlem OR NYC. Lastly, the year 2021 can be incorporated into the logo as well. I will make the 2021 designation an optional element for the logo.

We are an African-American Family, so using any inspiration from the Harlem Renaissance period or modern day Harlem would be appropriate.

• This is for a family reunion, so the logo should convey the warmth of family gatherings. Logo needs to include the year (2021). Logo needs to include our family name (Peoples-Ellis).

• A graphic element that conveys the geographic location of our 2021 reunion. That graphic element should convey either Harlem or New York City. However, I am leaning towards using Harlem, since we already used NYC for the 2020 logo.

• Don't provide a graphic element that has no relation to either our family name or the geographic location of our reunion (Harlem or NYC).
  
  In some of the initial submissions, there were a few very modern logo designs, which were very clean and simple, but also very cold. The risk of very modern designs that are "cold" is that they are not consistent with the warm feelings of a family gathering.
