If you want a good website, why not give actual web devs like myself to build the website? Wix is great (it's not, but whatever) for people who know nothing about web design. Your website looks mostly static so it would gives us more freedom if we can build whatever we want. I am not gonna build your website in Wix, and I believe most devs won't. So what you are going to get is submission from people who don't know anything about development.

Hmmm..... Good feedback. I'm not committed to WIX but have heard horror stories about business owners being left with a website that doesn't work as intended and cannot be easily updated. Do you suggest changing the brief to WP or something else?

Well, your brief says coding and design required, so it should be ok to give you HTML/CSS files. I'm fairly certain you could then upload it to Wix but I'm not 100% sure. If validated HTML/CSS is sufficient, then there shouldn't be any problem. I was under the impression that I would have to build your site in Wix.

@blice_one - if you supplied the HTLM/CSS files could they be uploaded to Wordpress or another CMS or do the files need to be specifically coded to a particular CMS?

I am sorry I beg to disagree, with all due respect, WIX is good if not better, it all depends on the designer to put all the needed apps and functions to let it ran perfectly.
