Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I am opening a new retail business selling mainly quilting fabric for patchwork, embroidery and needlework supplies, and yarn for knitting and crochet. The business name is "Makerie".
I will be incorporating an established online business for which I have been using a logo from Vistaprint. See image attached. I quite like the blocks of colour on the current logo for my online business as they indicate the quilting and patchwork part of the business, and colour is an important part of my craft products.
I would like my logo to be as fresh and modern and as simple as possible but still depicting some image indicating the products.
