Hi Everyone! Thanks so much for the designs submitted so far. There are some great ideas and I'm really grateful for your effort and contributions. Since there are so many of you that aren't from Australia I thought it might be helpful to explain my thinking a little more clearly. I've deliberately not tried provide too much 'direction' as I'm excited to see what ideas you all come up with, but I realise that I have some ideas that might be useful.

In my imagination, BeachGum reflects it's target producer and customer communities which are located on the Australian beaches and in the Australian Bush.

Australia is full of beaches with clear blue water and white sand that stretch for miles. It's warm it's clear, it's like the pictures you see in holiday brochures! After a day at the beach holiday makers watch the beautiful sunset and browse the local cafe's and shops. BeachGum wants to help them find the perfect reminder of thier holiday, made by local Australian Artisans.

The Australian Bush and their communities are full of iconic Gum trees and the. Regional bush and farming families have been impacted by drought, rain, and Covid and many have turned their talents to producing beautiful products sourced from their surroundings, for consumers nationally and internationally.

BeachGum is looking to support the regional communities by providing an outlet for the artisans and producers of beautiful things to share with other bush and beach communities.

Our logo should reflect the colours of the beach and the gum trees of the bush. It's more casual than corporate and it's concept is unique products, environmentally sourced from Australian beach and bush. Hope that helps!! Thankyou again. Sharon.
