We are building a modern, responsive website & booking system for our community hall. For this DesignCrowd task, we would like to receive design ideas for the home page.

There are no limits on the colours or fonts that can be used. We are looking for a modern, fresh design with a local/community feel. We don’t have a logo but we also recognise that our name is quite long! … So initials (PCH) instead of the name would be fine.

People book our community hall for a range of activities including: fitness classes, wedding receptions, birthday parties, business meetings, teaching, community events, charity fundraisers and other celebrations.

We have three main goals for the website. The first is that people can check our calendar and make a booking for an available time slot. The second is that they can read about our facilities and the prices for hiring them. The third is that people can find out about upcoming activities & events.

We have everything you need from a venue, whether it’s an elegant room with ample flexible space, a lavish and elegant hall for a wedding reception, a conference room that fits 125 delegates or a easy access venue to the town centre.

The hall is available for hire for wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, anniversaries, children's parties, presentations, lectures, fitness groups, and will comfortably accommodate all your guests.

This venue is well equipped with a modern kitchen, a range of audio and technical services, hearing loop, licensed bar, conference facilities, disabled access and unlimited free WiFi.

You can use this website to find out more about our rooms, equipment and the services we can offer and use the calendar to see where we have rooms available. You can also book rooms using our online booking system.

To the front of the building is a large public open grassed area across which is a row of shops. To the rear of the building is the large car park, including spaces for blue badge holders and a large enclosed cycle rack. This area also has extensive gardens, with seating and planting areas maintained by local volunteers.

The community hall is run and managed by volunteers of the Pepperton Community Organisation. Our objectives are to increase opportunities for people living in and around Pepperton.

We are passionate about being the heart of the community; caring for this community centred property and visitors are at the heart of all we do.

Name: Main hall
Short description: A 127 square metre main hall with entrance lobby, toilets, a well-equipped kitchen and separate storage facilities. Three sets of double doors provide access to a large paved area and the adjacent playing field.
Capacity: 180 people

Name: Large meeting room
Short description: A delightful, spacious room with an outlook and access to the small walled garden. Ideal for meetings and small gatherings - it has its own access door and the use of a disabled W/C. We offer a reduced rate for this room when booked together with the main hall.
