Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We're looking for a logo for a Sydney 38 racing sailboat. The boat name is Mako as in Mako Shark. The design will be applied to the white boat hull in vinyl lettering. The general space on the boat to occupy is around 8" to 12" tall letters by 4' to 5' long. I'm attaching a draft idea I came up with that incorporates a shark fin and "tiki" style font. I really like this draft but I'm open to other ideas. The design should be minimalist without many details so that it can be printed/embroidered on crew gear. It should convey speed and be simple and recognizable. One color (cobalt blue) is preferable. Two colors max.
