Resumen de Diseño Gráfico

We need logos & business card and T-shirt graphics designed for a General Contracting Business Partnership. The business owners of each company have a friendship that dates back to high school. We would like to see some uniformity across the 2 logo designs that reflect the relationship between the 2 companies.

'Grove Development Company' is a corporation under which all joint/large-scale projects will be performed. 'Grove' is taken from the Garden Grove High School name which is the school they both attended. For this company, we need a logo as well as graphics designed for use on business cards & T-shirts. This company was started by an innovative and highly successful entrepreneur and small-business investor. He has successfully launched several of his own companies as well as provided funding and start-up support for other small business owners.

'E W Weitz Building & Contracting' is a sole proprietorship under which the General Contractor's License is held and would also perform individual/small-scale work which is unrelated to the partnership. For this company, we need a logo designed. The owner/General Contractor is an extremely talented individual - known for his ability to problem solve for unique and challenging projects with careful consideration for his clients' budget & style. Prior clients patiently await his availability due to their experiences with the quality of work delivered & value for the price paid. He is well-versed in the requirements for building codes, safety & durability and his easygoing and positive attitude facilitates partnerships amongst the multiple vendors/contractors also working on the same project.

For the logos we would like to see emphasis on the letter 'G' in Grove Development Company and the letter 'W' in E W Weitz Building and Contracting with the image of a hammer incorporated within the letter (see attached files for examples).

• Hammer image must be incorporated into design. For the 'Grove Development Company' logo, the letter G (for Grove) should stand out. For the 'E W Weitz Building & Contracting' logo , the letter W (for Weitz) should stand out as well. The two logos should communicate the partnership between them and be designed with both male and female customers in mind.

Agradable de tener

• Use of negative space within letters to incorporate the hammer image. We are open to color suggestions but have considered the red/white/blue as well as blue/orange combinations. T-Shirts and other marketing items will be printed on both dark and light backgrounds so we will need designs that will complement both.
